JOHN MCCLURE

DIRECTOR OF SUPPLY CHAIN SECURITY

John McClure is the Director of Supply Chain Security for Blue Star Security and has been with the company since early 2012. He holds a law degree and served as a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation from 1995 through 2010. During his time with the FBI, John was primarily assigned to the San Jose Office and investigated crimes affecting the high-technology industry.

John’s primary role at Blue Star Security is to coordinate special projects involving high-value, high-risk freight flowing through Chicago O’Hare International Airport and to distribution centers throughout the country. He coordinates numerous large-scale projects each year which mostly involve high-technology freight valued in the hundreds of millions and which involve several hundred Blue Star Security employees. His secondary duties include providing consultation and security assessments to freight forwarding and logistics warehousing clients of Blue Star Security.

ERIC DIAZ

SUPPLY CHAIN SECURITY COORDINATOR

Eric Diaz is a retired Sergeant with the Chicago Police Department. Eric retired in 2019 after 25 years of service with the CPD. Eric has been assigned to units such as Patrol, Detectives Division, Fugitive Apprehension, U.S. Marshals and Narcotics.  He is a licensed security contractor and licensed private detective in the state of Illinois.  He has been with Blue Star Security since 2012 and holds the position of Supply Chain Security Coordinator.  Eric is responsible for scheduling hundreds of police officers during special projects which involve the protection of high-value cargo.  He is extremely organized and has a special talent for fulfilling last minute requests from clients.
