Blue Star Security LLC is hiring Active /Retired Police Officers as W-2 employees for armed security positions at numerous locations. Blue Star Security is a licensed security contractor agency in the State of Illinois. Join our rapidly growing company with part-time positions available.

- Off-duty police officers must be in good standing with their department and provide a signed VE-PEC form annually from their police department.
- Retired police officers retired more than 12 months must have or obtain PERC and FCC card to be eligible for employment to be in compliance with IDFPR, and must be retired in good standing with credentials (will be verified).
- Have a valid FOID card.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Provide signed VE-PEC from a law enforcement agency (Active Police only will be verified)
- Be able to stand for up to 8 hours.
- Have reliable transportation.
- Have a working cell phone and be able to utilize the company app.
- Must have agency Identification.
- Must utilize company uniforms.
- Have good written and verbal communication skills.
