JEFFREY T. SALVETTI
VICE PRESIDENT SPECIALIZED OFF DUTY DIVISION
Jeffrey T. Salvetti is the Co-Founder of Blue Star Security, LLC and the Divisional Vice President of Protos Security’s Specialized Off Duty Division. Jeff was born and raised in Chicago and became a Chicago police officer in 2005. In January 2020, he retired from the Chicago Police Department after 15 years of service to focus his efforts on continuing the growth of the business.
In January of 2024, Jeff was promoted to Divisional Vice President of Protos’s new Specialized Off Duty Division, where he leads thousands of active and retired law enforcement professionals in Illinois, New York, California, Texas, Canada and the United Kingdom. In his role as Divisional Vice President of Protos’s Specialized Off Duty Division, Jeff oversees all day to day operations for current Blue Star and Squad Security locations. He also leads the integration of newly acquired specialized brands with a focus on driving inter-company growth and expanding into new strategic markets and verticals.
Jeff is also a founding member of Bank the Blue, a nonprofit organization that provides mental health resources to law enforcement professionals throughout the Chicagoland area. He earned a bachelor’s degree from DePaul University in 2000 and holds security licenses and certifications throughout the United States.
